FOREWORD and Resume

Rage Against The Machine. Close- up. Carved wood, metal found objects, modified metal cleaver, and wood dowels. 5 ft. 7" (No. 29 on website).

Harris's sculpture ranges from pleasingly enigmatic abstract bronze figures that show the influence of Henry Moore and African sculpture, to more recent wood constructions and mixed-media. A wall-mounted assemblage triptych is indicative of a new found artistic freedom that he feels he has here, vs. the heavy influence of the academy that he says still exists in Sweden.
