Memoriam to UNC-Chapel Hill Slain Student Eve Carson
Evolution of a sculptural idea: Drive-By Street Thug A Predator, is a memoriam to the victim Eve Carson, a UNC-Chapel Hill student. It was early morning and I was breaking up an old chair in my backyard. I had been listening to the news online about the murder of this young woman. It was very upsetting when I saw one of these predators who was arrested, and later, another monster was jailed. Something caught my eye when I viewed the old chair, thus the idea of this piece.
